Los Chaparritos

Our mission is to grow the love and appreciation of Mexican culture and cuisine. Being able to touch our community through food is the way we show our love and passion. Los Chaparritos started as a food truck in 2020 when our family moved to Lafayette. With a background in the restaurant industry we believed a food truck would be a good way for our family to start sharing our love for delicious traditional Mexican food to our new community. With the success of our food truck came the need open a brick and mortar to better service the Greater Lafayette area, and a year and a half that dream came true when were able to open the restaurant location in West Lafayette. We’ve proudly grown into two food trucks and two restaurants with the support of the Greater Lafayette are. Our newest place is located at 3840 SR 38 E STE 501B, Lafayette IN 47905.

The most traditional dish we have is the mole that my husband prepares each morning. It is a very delicious recipe from his mom that continues to be the most popular dish on our menu. Mole can be served with chicken or can be prepared as enchiladas with mole sauce, I highly recommend that you try it with chicken. We have recently added a new item to the menu, a Parrillada, that is quickly becoming a must try, but you MUST be hungry for this one. This new creation comes with guacamole, rice, beans, Pico de Gallo, beef ribs, steak strips, chicken, chorizo, potatoes, grilled onions and jalapenos with tortillas.

Check us on for our weekly special, Taco Wednesday! Our signature tacos are $1.50 each, your choose protein from our menu, its available from 4PM-8PM at any of our location including the food trucks.

Needing to feed the masses? We offer catering for all events where you have the option to bring a food truck to your location or picking up trays from our brick and mortar locations. For more information, call me 765-767-4575.
